Lyneham Community Garden Upgrade

Upgrade the Community Garden to make it accessible to all and bee-friendly

The memorial garden, behind the Memorial Hall (which is used as the Library) is a well kept secret. It was created in 2000, but although regularly tended, the garden is in a poor state. It is not visible from othe road and there is no wheelchair access. The project will create part of the garden where people can gather and take part in a form of remembrance. There will also be a new stone cross memorial. The main part will be a paved area in the shape of a poppy using appropriate colouring of the paving to define the poppy.

The entrance will be opened up to increase visibility from the road and the church footpath.
