GOATACRE Village Hall

Refurbishment of Toilets & Showers, Provision of new Disabled Toilet and Cricket Umpire's Changing Room

Goatacre Village Hall was built in 1970 for the benefit of all local inhabitants and as a home for Goatacre Cricket Club. The cricket club has flourished and now has 10 times the members it had in those days. Recent refurbishment of the hall and lack of alternative venues has seen lettings for social and business functions increase considerably in the past few years.

The current toilets have hardly been touched in those years and we wish to carry out a total refurbishment of those along with the shower room. On top of this we aim to add a disabled toilet, which is necessary as we are lacking at the moment and welcome many visitors with disabilities. The cricket club have reached the top league of cricket in the West of England, for which a requirement is a separate umpire's changing room which we have factored in.

This development will complete our project to make the hall one of the most attractive social and sporting destinations in the area.
