St John's Church Foxham

​St John’s Church Foxham is an asset for the whole Parish as well as being an historic building dating back to 1607. In recent years significant investment has been made to maintain the fabric of the Church. English Heritage provided funding for extensive repairs to the roof in 2007. Community fundraising such as bingo nights, skittles competitions and the Foxham Horse and Dog Show, has meant that other critical repairs such as rewiring could be carried out. But, the Church now needs a replacement footpath, as the existing path is not safe for elderly or infirm visitors. The project requires some additional funding to enable the work to be carried out. Village events have raised some funds but more is required. Our intention is to preserve this wonderful 400 years old site and enable greater community use.
